  You can always tell when you are welcomed somewhere, and I not only feel welcome at Driver Dentistry, I feel at home due to the many smiles and “good mornings” from the wonderful staff. I have gone to Driver Dentistry many times for my various teeth needs, but my last visit when I got my wisdom teeth removed was my best experience yet. We’ve all heard horror stories about wisdom teeth removal, but Dr. Driver made it so quick, easy and painless that I didn’t even realize when my tooth was removed! Most of that has to do with Dr. Driver’s talent for dentistry, but a lot of it is attributed to the fact that the staff here does not treat this office like a job, but a home. Dr. Driver and everyone on staff made sure I was comfortable, prepared and relaxed before the procedure; there are certainly not that many places with that kind of service nowadays. And after all my wonderful experiences here, I can’t imagine going to any other dentist’s office.

  This dentist office is out to get your money by doing unnecessary tests and possibly procedures. I went in for a new patient exam and they told me they needed to do a Pano X-ray of my mouth. I said I had lived in the Portland area for 3 decades and never once had a dentist ask,require or offer this X-ray. This is an expensive diagnostic tool used for rare and specific reasons by orthodontist and dentist. They do this for all new patients and as routine care for their current patients every few years. They refused to do an exam with standard mouth X-rays. What they are doing is defrauding insurance companies. Those expensive X-rays should only been used for specific reasons not for every patients in your general dentistry practice. I think they are doing it to get money from the insurance company's and to find ways to justify doing unnecessary procedures for things that are not necessary to be corrected. I'm actually going to report these dentist to the board.
