- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪May 2017 Dr. Smith did great with my toe amputation but at the 2 week post op appt he did not numb me when my stitches failed to work and my toe opened back up, he did a debridement procedure on my open wound with no pain meds and sent me home with an opened wound. The next day he decided to have me come in to stitch me back up & he did another debridement procedure before stitching me back up with out numbing me. I was in so much pain I could not speak or move. I literally almost pass out from the pain. The nurses are awesome, they gave me wet towels for my head & neck along with water. I will not go back to him. I went and got a 2nd opinion & finished my post op appt with another dr. in town and they were shocked that I was not numbed for either of my procedure. When I walk it feels like a hard uncomfortable pinch and it goes all the way up to my knee. I am very active 29year old. This sucks!January 17, 2017by Jacob Johnson
